Flora and fauna
This area has a very similar ecosystem to that of the Chobe Riverfront area although the vegetation here beside the water seems to have many more large trees and be in a more natural state. Here I didn't feel that the vegetation had been hammered in quite the same way as it has been along the riverfront at Chobe. That said, with a hunting area a few kilometres to the east, and an area that used to allow hunting to the west, the game was much more scarce than the relatively 'tame' herds beside the Chobe.
